About Me

Hannah Foley, B.A.
Assistive Technology (AT) Professional
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist
As an AAC user myself, I know that AAC is more than just an object - it is a person's lifeline to friendships, education, employment, independence, and beyond.
I bring my own challenges and successes with using AAC to the table and use them to support other individuals on their AAC journey. Communicating with AAC is such a unique experience, and I am proud to bring over 24 years of personal and professional knowledge to individuals, families, and professionals across the United States. I am committed to seeing my clients for who they truly are and authentically understanding what they experience on a daily basis, as well as providing quality training and support to support teams who can help integrate AAC into all of life's activities.

I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, along with an Assistive Technology (AT) Certification with concentration in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I have been invited to speak on specialty topics related to inclusion and AAC implementation at a variety of universities, school districts, and national conferences. In addition to my consulting work, I am the Support and Implementation Specialist at Forbes AAC where I spend time delivering clinical support to AAC teams, with a particular emphasis on those who are implementing CoughDrop.

In my spare time, you can find me traveling, watching reality TV, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as swimming, boating, biking, and having bonfires. I look forward to learning more about you!
